Student Engagement

All students should feel that the SMOB represents them fully and accurately. If elected, I'll implement the following policies to increase student engagement with the SMOB:

• By the end of my term, every student will have the ability to vote in SMOB elections
• A SMOB alert system, so students are kept updated
• Biweekly SMOB town halls, open to all students
• The creation of a "SMOB cabinet," a group of representatives of each secondary school, which I will meet with before every major vote
• Frequent visits to each secondary school in AACPS, so I can meet and engage with students from all communities in AACPS
